St. Bernard Parish has a rich history and it can be experienced in a variety of ways. One highlight is the San Bernardo National Scenic Byway. This 29- mile stretch of Highway 46 offers glimpses of historic plantations, one of the oldest burial grounds in Louisiana, fishing villages, restaurants and quaint roadside markets. In addition, Old Arabi is home a burgeoning Arts center with a new Theatre, and Arts center.
