Why: St. Bernard Parish envisions a collaboration with neighboring Parishes in implementing a Regional approach to “living with water”; a foundational planning principle that will guide the transformation of existing drainage systems, improve area soils and groundwater management, support of healthier ecosystems and sustainable building practices, and improving connectivity and the quality of public spaces and lifestyle throughout the parish.
